
Arash is an assistant professor of dermatology, director of the inpatient dermatology consult service, and co-director of the Complex Medical Dermatology Fellowship at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. As a board-certified internist and dermatologist, he is a practicing physician who specializes in the dermatologic care of patients who are in the hospital and outpatients with complex dermatology disorders.
In addition to his clinical research, he is an advisor to several companies who are seeking to provide dermatologic care using novel technologies or innovative models of care delivery. He is also an associate editor at JAMA Dermatology.
His daughter has alopecia areata, and a portion of his research is focused on understanding the epidemiology and clinical impact of this disease. In addition, he is involved in clinical trials focused on bringing innovative therapies for alopecia areata to patients who need them the most.
